Cayman Islands Funds

The Cayman Islands is one of the most recognizable and reputable tax neutral, common law jurisdictions for the formation of alternative investment funds with nearly 13,000 regulated open-ended funds and 16,000 closed-ended funds.  With its proximity to the United States, and its appeal as a stable British dependancy with ultimate appeal to the Privy Council in England, Cayman funds have a significant footprint globally. Regulated by the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority (CIMA), the Cayman Islands offer a range of fund vehicles for the formation of investment funds as follows:

  • Exempted Company
  • Segregated Portfolio Company
  • Limited Liability Company
  • Exempted Limited Partnership
  • Unit Trust
