Dennis Stanley Woloshyn (Ryan)
Dennis Stanley Woloshyn (Ryan), B.A., B.Ed. (With Distinction), M.Ed. (Magna Cum Laude), JD, TEP, is a senior lawyer who has held leadership positions in Vancouver, British Columbia, the Cayman Islands, the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) and the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM). Dennis was a senior equity partner with each of McMillian LLP and Fasken in Vancouver before going offshore. He subsequently was engaged as Counsel and Head of Corporate Services for Conyers in the Cayman Islands and then in the DIFC. Dennis was subsequently engaged with Al Tamimi & Company in the DIFC as lead lawyer for Investment Funds in the MENA region. In 2021, he was appointed as the Regional Head of Corporate Solutions, MENA for APEX Group operating out of the ADGM.

CEO & FounderWhile practising in the Cayman Islands, Dennis was an Adjunct Professor of Company Law and Business Law at the University College of the Cayman Islands. He also earned the designation as Trust and Estate Practitioner with the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners in the UK. Dennis has been ranked as a leading practitioner with Chambers Global Middle East and Legal 500 since 2010 and Who’s Who – Private Client in 2017 and 2019. He also was awarded the IFLR Restructuring Deal of the Year in 2014 by assisting several banks in the restructuring of Dubai Group.
Dennis has left the practice of law and is an inactive member in each of the Provinces of Alberta and British Columbia in Canada, the Cayman Islands and the Rulers Court in Dubai. In 2024, he established DSW Investment Fund Consultancy offering client advisory and structuring advice for the establishment of Collective investment Funds in each of the Cayman Islands, DIFC and ADGM. Dennis also advises clients on corporate governance, contracts, finance, and corporate structuring, including the establishment of holding entities and SPVs in each of the Cayman Islands, DIFC and ADGM and Venture Capital Fund and proprietary entities.
Dennis works with a small number of global law firms and corporate and fund administrators who can assist with the preparation of the offering documents and establishment of legal entities in each of the Cayman Islands, DIFC, ADGM.
